Reading Leadership Books for Professional Development

There are so many great books to read – too many to read in a lifetime! Over the years I have read several books about leadership, self-help, professional development, time management, communication, entrepreneurship… the list goes on and on.

As a leader, it’s really important that you continue to invest in yourself. Set aside time to read articles, books, listen to audio books, take classes, etc. Reading is one of the easiest ways to keep a flow of helpful information in  your mind. You’ll be amazed at how reading leadership books will flow in to your day-to-day interactions at work (and home!). books-1931195_1920

Here’s a few of my favorite leadership books:

  1. Strengths Based Leadership: Great Leaders, Teams, and Why People Follow by Tom Rath
  2. Winning by Jack Welch
  3. Leadership and Self-Deception: Getting Out of the Box by The Arbinger Institute
