Don’t allow bullying to happen in your workplace
I’ve been picked on at work and didn’t realize until later that I was bullied. Looking back makes me wonder why my bosses didn’t stand up for me. Today, I don’t allow bullying to happen anywhere near me. Be the kind of leader that supports kindness in your workplace.
Ever feel like there’s a dark side that wants you to do something wrong at work? Get help and don’t be bullied at workplace.
If you’re a leader, don’t stand by & wait for someone else to rally the troops for good. As a leader, you’re in a specific position to stop the bullying. If you see it and don’t do anything about it, do you really want to have that on your conscience?
In the end, you don’t have bullying on your “record” when you go to meet your maker, so pay attention and make sure to do something about it today. Even though you likely will be alive for years to come, you don’t want to delay because it will feel heavy on your spirit that you haven’t done anything to improve the bullying. I’m not sure about you, but for me, I want to clear minded so that I can feel the promptings of the Holy Spirit to guide me in my business… and if there is something big – like bullying – that hasn’t been dealt with, it will hold you back from getting the inspiration you need to be successful in your work.
BTW, if you see bullying, get in touch with your HR leader to know what should happen next. Leverage the expertise of the human resources team to help you with ending any bullying that is going on. If you’re the business owner and don’t have an HR team to rely on, then you just might want to get some legal advice, ASAP.
Truly, though, simply starting with acknowledging that the bullying is going on is the very best first step…
