One night, I totally was about to lose my mind. I was overwhelmed with a bunch of self-defeating thoughts, anxiety and pain. I excused myself from the dinner table and headed to the master bathroom to cry it out and talk with God.

In the midst of my crying and pity party, I realized how much I have to be grateful for! I immediately launched into a gratitude practice that does NOT include a journal (because sometimes the journal just isn’t where you need it!) and it felt great to regain my composure and then rejoin the family at the dinner table.
