I get asked this question all the time, “what’s the one thing I need to include when it comes to career planning?” And if I had to boil it down to just one thing, I would say hands down a personal brand. It’s the foundation to building an awesome career. Without having a clear personal brand, you will not be able to present yourself in an authentic way and people will be unable to know how to perceive you. Having a clear personal brand also helps you to network. So before you start planning your career move, make sure you nail down your personal brand.
