Today, I want to talk to you a little bit about the love that happens in our households and how that can make a difference for us in the workplace.
So, if you look at my picture above, you will see a little white string. Well, the amazingness that you see draped around my neck is my dear friends a noodle necklace that was made by my five-year-old daughter at daycare. And my five-year-old said to me, “Mom, will you wear this today”? And I said, “You know what, I will be happy to wear that today”. And so, I’m wearing the noodle necklace. And I’m loving it. And it’s a total joy. And as I’ve been in meetings today, I’ve been showing it off to people etc. And people are loving it as well. So, where I’m going with this whole thing is? Don’t forget to include your kids when it comes into your career stuff. I know a lot of times we talk about boundaries and having work separate from life and having you know these kinds of things. But there are little ways that we can weave the two together in a way adds a lot of fun and a lot of joy, and shows the little people in our life, how much they mean to us, and how much we love them. I love my noodle necklace, and it is pretty rad, right? Really, it’s pretty, pretty rad.
