I remember my mom hiring me when I was 10 years old to do menial work for her boss. I loved every moment of it. Didn’t realize at the time that nepotism was how I got the job. But, who really cares when you’re ten?
But, when you’re 45 years old, nepotism means something. It’s especially hard when the boss’ son who recently graduated from college gets the promotion that you’ve been working towards.
